split into two parts by the M the old town to the North and the Market District to the [Music] South very cool house up here it was here that the US entered World War I have a display of Olympic athletes along here too on the handrail Vincent was a French rower who specialized in single skulls in this event he won nine national titles he competed at the 1928 Summer Olympics how far do the French right um H that’s a description but these green lots of green logs so lots of people have found it okay so gu I should translate the description probably best although I’m pretty sure it’ll be on that seat over there yeah that’s cross my mind I wonder if it’s over there yeah what’s it say well I’ve translated it it says here a small cache to help you discover the old water Mills of Mo on the night of June the 16th 17 20 1920 a fire ravaged the muls marking the end of the era of water mols all right that’s a shame yeah then it goes on quite a bit which I’m sure will be really we heading into the older part of the town the medieval part here the BS of Cathedral [Music] here’s a beautiful cathedral up above us here unfortunately some of it’s well it’s not unfortunate it’s good that it’s getting renovated but it does uh spoil the view of the cathedral a little bit but uh great to see it getting uh looked out and there’s an earth cach up here so uh ly’s just tracking to now wow it’s amazing looking look at the uh Tower going up here okay where’s the Earth cash one that’s around here yep we’re going to the portal at way point one okay and that’s where our first question will be yes just hoping we can see it these Renovations going on sometimes as a tourist you get caught you can’t uh can’t go to places that you were hoping to go to we hope this is the right location we’re hoping it’s not over to the left any further because of the renovations okay from what we can make out we’re supposed to be looking at the pillar on the left of the portal and what do we notice on the stones so fourth row from the bottom and we can’t actually see that that is too unless we use the we taking that as being the column going up there and of course the fourth row from the bottom is covered over yeah it looks like that’s the end of the Earth catch but there is a virtual here there is yes yeah so we can go to the virtual should we do that instead okay okay it’s back around to the front of the cathedral and uh looking for the location of the virtual we have to take a photo okay we got to find a cannon and glasses and if we look up here he’s just over to the left [Music] photo for the log well we found the virtual so we’re going to go in and have a look wow that is amazing wow see the scaffolding for the renovations over over here but then look up at this beautiful beautiful roof we’ll take a closer look at this wonderful statue in a few minutes so next where we are dates from the 15th century the chancel up ahead is from the 13th century looking back here at the entrance um you can see the wonderful organ that’s here this is a memorial to B who was buried here he was a French bishop and theologian he is regarded as a brilliant orator and literary stylist of the French language the tomb of B is in the choir which is located in the chancel between the Nave and the altar here is a Chapel of the baptismal font it’s in marble with the silver cover the sculpture up here is titled the visitation it’s from the first half of the 18th century there are Ledger Stones here marking the burials of important people under the floor lier comes from the old English meaning to lie [Music] down The Grieving parents of Philip of Castile raised this Monument to him when he died in 1627 construction of the cathedral began in 1170 around 1269 a complete reconstruction was undertaken because of defects in the original construction wonderful stained glass windows everywhere on the left is a Neo Gothic stained glass window dated 1869 of saints Cil the wonderful carpet here is full of symbolism the cat of arms of BU everywhere you look there are interesting and beautiful things to see [Music] or night Co work protects the high Altar and its reliques the containers of holy relics there’s a war memorial here and it it’s includes in New newand is New Zealand cut of arms is there along with English and uh New Foundland South Africa Canada United Kingdom Australia it’s interesting to see it does now down to get lunch interesting piece of strengthening up on the building there oh goodness like it’s been there a while [Music] M the town is the home to a special cheese called breed de Mo it has a sweet creamy taste with almond and mushroom undertones interesting shop display here the cheese being the Gold Medal winner at the Olympics that’s Co just going to have to pick up a bit of lunch could it be haved please okay just one or two one one okay right we’ve had a nice lunch had a food roll and a cup of coffee and now we’re off to to try and get another Ru cash yeah it was lovely for roll wasn’t it yes it was love so fresh another view of the wonderful Cathedral okay this is uh this is the start of the earth Cas the pharmacy of the cathedral okay in front in front of the cathedral Pharmacy C photo way point1 question what fossil do you see under the Red Zone under the what zone Red Zone so looks like I have to see photo y1 we found the fossil and Lynn’s just taking a photo to help us remember from when we fr the cash that’s good our GPS is all over the place which may be due to the narrow medieval roads in this part of town but it’s brought us to this bridge or Skyway which connects the cathedral to the 13th century chapter house on the right where meetings were once held the bridge looks medieval but only takes back to 1935 today the old chapter house is used as a Sacristy a place where a priest prepares for a service and where vestments and articles of worship are kept this is cool uh GP is is pointing in the wrong direction so let’s turn back we’ll go back to find more fossils next to the cathedral oh gosh got me right another photo being taken of a fossil this one was a little hard to identify because it shows a red star on the ground but there’s definitely no red star here but looking at the lines the colored lines and the lighter lines and the darker lines we think we found the fossil let’s head over for a second look at this doorway as we have heard there’s something interesting here in 1562 the hugos who were fanatically opposed to the Catholic Church began killing priests destroying sacred images relics and church buildings clearly there’s been a lot of damage cuz all these beautiful statues have had their heads chopped off even up over the doorway here the smaller ones and over on the side too a that’s a shame the damage of Hugo’s caused here has never been repaired pre then in 150 M be right on Place de H we’re making a little detour here to look at a famous garden first design on our way we’re passing through a wide Courtyard here between the cathedral and the Gardens at the far end we can see the other side of the 13th century Chapter House the staircase here dates from the 15th century the garden we’re heading to is the shape of a bishop smiter the head gear traditionally worn by Bishops it was made to be seen from the first floor of The Bishop’s Palace this makes perfect sense because the garden is part of what was the official residence of a bishop look at those lovely flowers through there it’s beautiful isn’t it what we’ve just seen a gentleman painting over there so we’re going over to ask if your mind’s been filmed oh that’s beautiful oh it’s lovely just money money M oh money money yes just light morning yes sun it’s beautiful GRE green blue BL GRE mhm we managed to communicate a little let’s head down to see the old ramp parts of the Town erected in the 3r century and enlarged over the centuries love the double row of lime trees here okay time to find other fossils after our detour we’re heading off back to the Man River to finish the Earth cash questions ly’s taking a photo so we can answer the question later when we log the Earth cach yay yes we finished the Earth cash fossil Earth Earth cash now to buy treat for later this evening these ones with strawberries look nice so it’s two of each yum we’re using our wise debit card while traveling in England last year our bank had an online glitch which meant we could not use our Visa card for around 24 hours we had no dinner that night as we’ also run out of cash a card not linked to our bank is a great backup when things go wrong now to find a restaurant for an early dinner and try the Brie MO is famous for [Music] cheers we’re having a nice Rosé and a cheeseboard the bre is made from raw cow’s milk it has a soft delicate white ride the interior of the cheese is straw yellow creamy and soft nice well this brings us the end of our special one 531.0 over to the left
540.63 [Music]

847.399 M the town is the home to a special
850.44 cheese called breed de Mo it has a sweet
854.56 creamy taste with almond and mushroom
858.6 undertones interesting shop display here
861.839 the cheese being the Gold Medal winner
864.839 at the
868.04 Olympics that’s
872.639 Co just going to have to pick up a bit

895.92 food roll and a cup of coffee and now
898.56 we’re off to to try and get another Ru
900.24 cash yeah it was lovely for roll wasn’t
902.32 it yes it was love so
908.44 fresh another view of the wonderful
912.16 Cathedral okay this is uh this is the
916.12 start of the earth
918.56 Cas the pharmacy of the
922.839 cathedral okay in
925.279 front in front of the cathedral Pharmacy
929.959 C photo way point1 question what fossil
933.12 do you see under the Red Zone under the
936.279 what zone Red Zone so looks like I have
940.079 to see
942.6 photo
946.68 y1 we found the fossil and Lynn’s just
950.079 taking a photo to help us remember from
952.519 when we fr the
954.16 cash that’s good our GPS is all over the
958.079 place which may be due to the narrow
960.279 medieval roads in this part of
963.36 town but it’s brought us to this bridge
966.0 or Skyway which connects the cathedral
968.8 to the 13th century chapter house on the
971.519 right where meetings were once
974.199 held the bridge looks medieval but only
977.44 takes back to
980.0 1935 today the old chapter house is used
983.6 as a Sacristy a place where a priest
986.0 prepares for a service and where
988.319 vestments and articles of worship are
994.399 kept this is
1017.16 cool uh GP is is pointing in the wrong
1020.12 direction so let’s turn
1024.959 back we’ll go back to find more fossils
1028.039 next to the
1030.559 cathedral oh gosh got me
1043.039 right another photo being taken of a
1046.28 fossil this one was a little hard to
1048.439 identify because it shows a red star on
1051.32 the ground but there’s definitely no red
1053.16 star here but looking at the lines the
1055.52 colored lines and the lighter lines and
1057.64 the darker lines we think we found the
1060.36 fossil let’s head over for a second look
1063.0 at this doorway as we have heard there’s
1065.32 something interesting here in 1562 the
1069.32 hugos who were fanatically opposed to
1071.48 the Catholic Church began killing
1073.72 priests destroying sacred images relics
1076.12 and church buildings clearly there’s
1078.559 been a lot of damage cuz all these
1080.24 beautiful statues have had their heads
1081.84 chopped off even up over the doorway
1085.159 here the smaller
1087.679 ones and over on the side too a that’s a
1092.08 shame the damage of Hugo’s caused here
1095.48 has never been
1097.96 repaired pre then in 150 M be right on
1102.08 Place de
1103.52 H we’re making a little detour here to
1106.76 look at a famous garden first design
1116.919 on our way we’re passing through a wide
1119.159 Courtyard here between the cathedral and
1122.0 the
1122.76 Gardens at the far end we can see the
1125.36 other side of the 13th century Chapter
1128.559 House the staircase here dates from the
1131.44 15th
1133.64 century the garden we’re heading to is
1136.6 the shape of a bishop smiter the head
1139.48 gear traditionally worn by
1141.559 Bishops it was made to be seen from the
1144.24 first floor of The Bishop’s
1147.08 Palace this makes perfect sense because
1150.24 the garden is part of what was the
1152.12 official residence of a
1164.52 bishop look at those lovely flowers
1166.84 through there
1197.6 it’s beautiful isn’t it what
1231.72 we’ve just seen a gentleman painting
1233.32 over there so we’re going over to ask if
1235.799 your mind’s been
1238.28 filmed oh that’s
1240.96 beautiful oh it’s
1243.919 lovely just money money M oh money money

1272.12 little let’s head down to see the old
1274.36 ramp parts of the Town erected in the 3r
1276.799 century and enlarged over the
1284.679 centuries love the double row of lime
1286.919 trees here
1293.76 okay time to find other fossils after
1295.64 our
1304.52 detour we’re heading off back to the Man
1307.12 River to finish the Earth cash questions
1338.64 ly’s taking a photo so we can answer the
1340.799 question later when we log the Earth
1342.6 cach yay yes we finished the Earth cash

1372.52 yum we’re using our wise debit card
1376.12 while traveling in England last year our
1378.52 bank had an online glitch which meant we
1380.919 could not use our Visa card for around
1382.96 24
1384.2 hours we had no dinner that night as we’
1387.12 also run out of cash a card not linked
1390.039 to our bank is a great backup when
1391.919 things go
1399.12 wrong now to find a restaurant for an
1401.44 early dinner and try the Brie MO is
1404.0 famous for
1406.39 [Music]
